Both apartments have two floors. One has two twin bedrooms and one double bedroom, whilst the second has one twin one double bedroom. The former has a traditional balcony with magnificent views over the valley to the peaks of Peña Chago.
Nearby there are numerous outdoor activities on offer - skiing, hiking, mountain and rock climbing, caving, archery, pony trekking, mountain-biking, etc.

The
two "Crista y Quico" holiday apartments are housed in
an old Asturian country house, tastefully restored to match traditional
local building styles. 
The
apartments are located in the beautiful mountain valley of the River
Huerna, a popular area for Spanish Rural Tourism in the heart of
"Green Spain", on the edge of the attractive small village
of Zurea (or Zureda). Whist Zurea itself is in the heart of peaceful
countryside, the motorway is just 10 minutes away, giving easy access
the the historic cities of Oviedo (20 minutes), and León
(1 hour), as well as the seaside resort of Gijón (40 minutes)
and numerous sandy beaches. It is a perfect location in which to
spend a few days resting, enjoying the peaceful scenery, and watching
the local people going about their traditional rural daily tasks.
It is also a place where you can still see fields sown with "escanda",
a prized cereal crop which is used to make the exquisite and highly-regarded
bread, "pan de escanda".
Make
the most of the opportunity to get to know and to try out the local
culinery specialities, which are prepared using local natural ingredients,
including locally-produced meats. And don't forget to try the various
exquisite desserts!
